Busy Fall
Hey friends 🙂
Fall has been extremely busy and really wonderful this year. October flew like a marshmallow from a slingshot, let me tell you! (Strange reference, I know, but some of my singing friends from Western Christian College will remember that slingshotting marshmallows works really well, and kind of hurts!) Spent a week in Calgary for the Gospel Music Assocation of Canada conference – thanks to everyone who came out to my showcase and visited while I was in town! I got to meet some great people, heard some fantastic music (saw The City Harmonic live… oh happiness), and had some very encouraging meetings.
November has been packed as well… returned yesterday from a weekend retreat with the lovely ladies of Kelowna’s Willow Park Church. I love leading them in song… what incredible voices and glowing hearts!
Two shows coming up in the next bit – Sunday, November 13 at 7pm I will be opening up for Lost And Found at First Lutheran Church. Tickets are $10 each or $30 for a family, available at the door. You need to come to this… Lost And Found are an absolute riot and I’ll be playing some songs off my upcoming album. Yay!
Then, on Friday, November 18 I’ll be sharing some tunes at the Streaming Cafe for a songwriter circle organized by the Tribehouse. Really stoked about this! Check out the line-up at the Tribehouse site: http://www.tribehouse.org/2011/10/songwriter-circle-nov-18/
Have a great week – smile at a stranger on the street and trust the smallest things can make the biggest difference. 🙂
